EarnEat

Calorie savings

Turn cardio
into dessert.

Every minute of training becomes a kcal balance in your account. You spend it however you like: a chocolate truffle on Tuesday, a glass of wine on Friday, or you save all week and cash it in on all-you-can-eat pizza on Saturday.

Most diet apps sell restriction.
EarnEat sells permission.

You are not cheating when you eat the dessert. You paid for it, in sweat — and the app shows you exactly what it cost.

Other apps

  • Ask you to log every meal, every day
  • Show how much you are still allowed to eat
  • Turn Sunday's dessert into a failure
  • Charge a monthly fee to see your own data

EarnEat

  • You log the workout only — never a meal
  • Shows what you have already earned and can cash in
  • Turns Sunday's dessert into a reward you earned
  • Free, offline and with no sign-up at all

Three steps

How the savings account works

  1. Log your cardio

Walking, running, biking, swimming or the elliptical. You enter duration and intensity, and the app works out the calories burned with the MET formula and your body weight.

  2. Watch the balance grow

The balance shows up in kcal and in real food: “94% of your all-you-can-eat pizza”. Pick a weekend goal and follow how much is left.

  3. Cash it in, guilt-free

24 options on the shelf, from a peanut butter cup to a full steak dinner. The shelf only shows what fits your balance — and the balance never goes negative.

The week rolls over on Sunday and the balance resets. You spend what you earned, in the week you earned it.

What is your workout worth?

The maths below is exactly what runs inside the app — same formula, same catalogue values. Move the sliders and see what your cardio buys.

An estimate based on body weight, duration and intensity. It does not replace advice from a dietitian or a doctor.

    24 rewards, priced in calories

No “equivalent portions”. It is the food you actually eat, with the cost in kcal on the label.

EarnEat does not deliver food. The shelf shows what your balance buys out there — cashing in here is an entry on your statement, like a withdrawal from savings.

    Inside the app

Deposit, balance, rewards and statement — the whole banking metaphor.

EarnEat weekly calorie balance screen with deposits and withdrawals.

    Weekly savings

Balance, deposits, withdrawals and a full statement. Banking vocabulary, calorie currency.

    Real calorie burn

Worked out from activity, duration, intensity and your body weight, with the MET formula.

    Weekend goal

Pick the week's prize and follow, as a percentage, how much is still missing.

    Training streak

The streak of days trained, so the habit stands on its own without relying on motivation.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is EarnEat a calorie counter?

The other way around. Instead of counting what you eat, EarnEat counts what you burn doing cardio and turns it into a balance. You never log a meal: you pick a reward from the shelf and cash it in.

Is the food delivered to my door?

No. EarnEat does not sell, deliver, or have any connection to a restaurant, grocery store or delivery app. The rewards shelf is just how we show, in food, what you have saved — “your balance is worth one slice of cake”. You are the one who buys and eats it, whenever and wherever you like. Cashing in inside the app is an entry on your statement, like a withdrawal from savings.

    Is the app free?

Yes, and with no subscription. There is no monthly fee to look at your own balance. The app is supported by ads, and removing them is a one-time purchase.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No. EarnEat works 100% offline. There is no sign-up, no login and no server: everything is stored on your phone only.

How does the app work out calories burned?

With the MET formula, the same standard gym equipment uses: kcal = MET × 3.5 × body weight ÷ 200 × minutes, adjusted by the intensity you picked. It is an estimate, not a measurement.

    Can the balance go negative?

Never. The rewards shelf only shows what fits inside what you have already saved. Owed calories would turn into an obligation to train them off, and that has a name: compensatory exercise. The app does not do that.

What happens to the balance at the end of the week?

The week rolls over on Sunday and the balance resets. You spend what you earned, in the week you earned it — that is what stops you from piling up credit you could never spend healthily.

    Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. Today EarnEat is available for Android only, on Google Play. The iOS version is in development.

    Does EarnEat replace a dietitian?

No. It is an estimating guide and does not replace advice from your dietitian or your doctor. Calorie burn figures are estimates based on body weight, duration and intensity.

Today's workout is already worth a dessert.
